The Annual Fund is the collection of money that is given to the school over the course of a school year. The majority of private schools across the nation conduct an Annual Fund, as it is essential to operation. Participation in the Annual Fund is an important priority because we value Northside Christian Academy’s unique blend of superior athletics, fine arts, and academics with its purposefully small community.
As is the case with most private schools, the cost of tuition does not cover the school’s operating costs. In fact the success of our Annual Fund has a direct impact on our ability to continue to raise the quality of Northside Christian Academy’s programs and education.
Parents, School Board, Faculty, and Alumni work to encourage other parents, grandparents, faculty, alumni, and community members to give. Our annual goal for the 2011-2012 school year is $75,000 by June 1st. Many foundations to which we apply for grants look closely at participation figures.
The Annual Fund supports financial aid programs, faculty salaries, classroom resources, campus upkeep, and co-curricular programs in the AEL, Elementary, and Secondary Schools. Overall, students get access and facilities, faculty get more competitive compensation and professional support, alumni get a healthier, stronger alma mater which to come back to draw from, and parents get the best teaching and resources possible for their children.
We encourage our parents to make Northside Christian Academy one of their highest philanthropic priorities while their children are students here. While leadership gifts help to ensure the school’s economic strength, a gift in any amount is important and appreciated as it demonstrates the donor’s understanding and commitment to Northside Christian Academy’s mission.
Yes. You may pledge in the fall and pay on a schedule of your choice prior to June 1st. Pledge reminders will be mailed periodically. Please make your checks payable to Northside Christian Academy.
