NCA’s Unger Chosen As Terrific Teen By Charlotte Parent!

ryanunger copyWhen you hear us talk about our fantastic students and what a great student body we have here at NCA, we aren’t just saying these things; we mean them! Case in point, our very own Ryan Unger (’15) has been nominated by Charlotte Parent Magazine as one of their 2015 Terrific Teens! Ryan is one of only 8 chosen in the area and we are not only thrilled for him and this special honor, but also for what it means to the students here at NCA! He is quite an example of what it means to be an NCA student – and it shows in his daily life. Ryan is a well-rounded individual: he’s involved as a class officer, is in the running for valedictorian, is active in his local church, sings in a choral group and has shown quite a talent for Robotics.

International New YearThe international program at NCA is a very interesting, enjoyable and important part of the overall learning experience; some could say that it’s an integral part of our academic life here at NCA, and we would have to agree! On Friday, all of our international students joined us in the Student Activity Center (SAC) for a Chinese New Year / Lunar New Year celebration (and of course a lot of food and fun)! Our International Admissions Director, Mrs. Pamela Starkey, is a large part of the success of the International Program, as she was integral in getting it started here at NCA – and she continues to work extremely hard at giving students across the globe an opportunity to experience the difference that NCA can make in students’ lives!

Annual Fund 10 Week Countdown!

#3 Rotator
An integral part to sustaining the strong traditions at Northside Christian Academy is giving. Many of the successes that we have shared as NCA Families have been at the hands of wonderful donors and benefactors who share the vision of what NCA can be! Starting this week, we at NCA are beginning a ten week countdown, a campaign called “Ten in 10,” in which each week, we provide a top reason for our NCA Families to give. We gathered together to discuss the most important aspects that make NCA what it is, as well as the strong history that we have here.
